Exciting Update on WD10Y23

We are thrilled to announce the successful conclusion of our WD10Y23-301 cohort last week. This dedicated group consisted of 8 talented individuals who have excelled in front-end development training. Each graduate successfully completed their Final Capstone project, marking a significant step towards achieving their Minor degree in Advanced Web Development.
All the aspiring Web developers have chosen “Course track” in our Production ready course (WD 401). This course is designed to refine their abilities and prepare them fully for professional challenges ahead.

We’re excited to see their continued progress and are confident that they will contribute significantly to the tech industry upon completion of their training.

WD11Y23 course update

Our Last scholarship batch WD11Y23 finished submitting their Final submission for Web Development 201- Server Side programming with Node.js on 07 February 2024.
25/323 onboarded students could manage to make the submission within the deadline. 15/25 students managed to complete the course successfully and shall be onboarded to WD301- Front end Development with React and Typescript.

Web Development cohorts update

Currently, we have three ongoing Web development (WD) cohorts.

WD11Y23
This students of this cohort are getting acquainted with the concepts of “Server side programming with Node.js” (WD201).

24th January 2024 was the second deadline for this cohort to complete all the milestones until Level 10. In total, there are 11 milestones in this course.
47/147 students managed to meet the deadline, while the remaining 100 students could not meet the deadline and were offboarded from the course.

7th February 2024 is the Final deadline for this cohort.

WD10Y23
The students of this cohort are doing hands on practice on “Front end Development with React and Typescript” (WD301).

All the 8 students in this cohort are progressing well in the course and have already crossed the mid-point in the course-Level 5.

B02Y22, WD07&08Y23
This cohort is currently pursuing the Production ready course, which is the final course in the Minor degree in Advanced Web development track.
There are two tracks offered for this cohort- course track and internship track- either of which can help the students earn the credits towards their degree.
Currently, we have 36 students in course track who are progressing steadily in the course, while 2 students chose the internship track.

Ongoing Web development (WD) cohorts update

WD11Y23-WD 201

• In Web Development 201 (WD201), we have three firm deadlines throughout the course- at L5, at L10 and at Final Capstone-failing to meet which the students shall be offboarded from the course.

On 20 December 2023, we had our first deadline - the students had to complete all the milestones until Milestone 5 (M5), to continue their learning journey.

147/323 students managed to meet the deadline and are still in the course.

WD10Y23- WD301

• All the 8 students enrolled in WD301 have managed to meet the all the weekly deadlines in the course so far and have completed Level 3 in the course.

B02Y22+WD07&08Y23-WD401

• This is our first batch of students who shall be completing the Web development course series and getting their Minor Degree in Web development.
  Currently, we have 36 students enrolled in WD401 who are progressing to complete the course.

Soft Launch of AI assistant to help spread awareness on NEP 2020 policies

To commemorate Teacher’s day, a soft launch for a use case of AI Assistant was done with a cohort of 20 faculty members from 14 LITE institutions and 7 states, in order to help them get familiar with NEP 2020 policies.

A new cohort (WD10Y23) in progress

We have 87 students from 7 Institutes, who are now in their path of learning to become a backend developer using Node.js by taking our WD 201 course.

Unveiling the Outstanding Results of Our GDC LITE Screening Test

7 Students from B02Y22 of Advanced Web Development Program by Pupilfirst Excel in the Screening Test conducted by eGovernments Foundation and have secured the prestigious GDC Engineering Fellowship.
This includes 2 foreign students from Ethiopia and Bangladesh - A Moment of Pride!

19 students from 12 LITE Institutions from 5 states across India attended the screening test in the month of March 2023, 7 students have cleared the test successfully and have been deputed to eGovernment foundation for a period of 6 months to work on Digital Public Goods. During the internship period, the interns will contribute to saving the lives of thousands of patients in various parts of the country. This will also add value to their career journey.

Admissions to 10th cohort of LITE Advanced Web Development Program has commenced

Admissions to the LITE Advanced Web Development program, WD10Y23 cohort was launched on 20 July 2023 with 12 LITE-enabled institutes. A LITE Faculty Orientation session for the cohort was also conducted in order to brief faculty members on the cohort guidelines and share insights from previous cohorts.

03 August 2023 is the deadline for applications, and as of today (27 July 2023), we received 269 applications from which 204 eligible students were onboarded to WD 101 course which is offered as an Interest-Based Admissions Test (iBAT).

Admissions to 1st cohort of LITE Electric Vehicles Program has commenced

Admissions to the LITE Electric Vehicles program - Ev02Y23 cohort has successfully been launched today, 27 July 2023 with 2 participating institutes. A LITE Faculty Orientation session for the cohort was also conducted in order to brief faculty members on the cohort timelines and guidelines followed by an interaction with a Teaching Assistant from Pupilfirst.

09 August 2023 is the deadline for applications, and students will be selected based on their applications, while the results will be communicated to institutes by 17 August 2023. Top 100 selected students will be onboarded to the EV 101 - Mathematical Modeling of an Electric Vehicle course, on a full scholarship basis.
